Bio

Ian Dudley was born in Rowley Regis in the black country, and is a citizen of nowhere. He's worked in an off licence, a foundry, a molecular genetics laboratory, and also read electricity meters, which makes him sound far more interesting than he is. After retraining as a programmer decades ago, he's worked in IT ever since.

He was a Jerwood/Arvon Foundation poetry mentee 2014/5 and you can hear a few of his poems on SoundCloud.

He's had short stories broadcast on Radio 4 (Opening Lines) and Radio 4 Extra (Blood Lines). You can read some of his stories by clicking on the stories link at the top of this page.
